Last Month

Last month the Spanish Branch held a retirement party for my dear father. It was a momentous occasion with delicious food and wonderful people. I only got one good picture with my own camera before the camera malfunction...it was of Molly and her sweet new friend Valentina. (I hope they can get together again soon, they made a perfect pair.) The other photo is one I stole from somebody's facebook...part of the Renteria family with my Dad and his giant cake. I can't wait for the adventures ahead.

The Miracle

We have experienced a miracle in this family. Asher (who has hated being in standing water with a passion his entire mortal existence) got into a wading pool. And he almost even sat in it. To top it off, he seemed to be having fun. I'm glad to have brought a camera to document this momentous occasion.

Why?

I don't know what has possessed me to create this blog after my lengthy blog rebellion. I don't really have anything important to say. I will say that I love that my Molly tells me she's a princess in the same voice as most children would use to imitate a carnivorous dinosaur about to attack. Also, I wish I had a nut tree. Any variety of nut would do.
